Hello, and welcome to my first newsletter of 2019.
I hope your start to 2019 has been relaxing and that you’re looking forward to embracing another year around the sun.
Change often comes with a new year and this is certainly the case for Emma-Kate Massage and Well-Being. Some of you may know by now that I have moved my city practice to Level One, 104 The Terrace, Wellington. Nothing changes other than location for my city clients. You’ll still receive the same great service and you can continue to book online.
Benefits of regular massage
I’d like to remind you about the importance of booking regular massage. Emma-Kate Massage and Well-Being offers massage to relax, revitalise, recover and relieve. I can help you to reduce stress, bring some pep back into your day, help your muscles during recovery and ease the aches and pains your body may be experiencing.
So many of us walk around with built up pain and tension – my goal is return your body to a state of calm through my skill and experience as a qualified massage therapist. If you want to talk about the benefits of booking regular massage, please get in touch with me.
Last year I mentioned that I’m also offering 10-15-minute onsite workplace chair massages. If you or your workplace is interested, please send me an email for more information. Check out my Facebook Page for the benefits of workplace massage.
Mindfulness and Positive Neuroplasticity Training (PNT)
In 2018 I completed both my Mindfulness and Positive Neuroplasticity Training (PNT). Mindfulness put simply is allowing yourself to be in the moment. PNT is about learning how to engage your mind through three fundamental steps of: Let Be, Let Go and Let In. I now offer private, group and corporate mindfulness classes. If you are interested in finding out more information, please contact me.
New website has launch!
The addition of my new services saw me revisit my branding alongside the talented Sara-Jane of Desginerbloom Graphic Design. My beautiful new branding was introduced last year. Thank you for your kind words and support during this change. Recently, I have entrusted the wonderful Sara-Jane once again to design and build my new website. I’m excited to announce that my new website has launched today. I’d love for you to check it out and let me know what you think. I feel extra proud that my new website is launching today as today also marks my 5th anniversary of massage practice in Wellington City.
Lastly, I’d like to leave you with a thought… What, if any, new years resolutions did you make?I made myself a top five to live 2019 by:
- Set boundaries with myself and others.
- Be grateful for the little things in life and start journaling.
- Go with the flow - sit with my feelings and acknowledge them before letting them go.
- Be kind to myself (let go of the inner criticism and perfectionism) and be kind to others (smile at strangers in the street or in the lift).
- Keep up my daily meditation and mindfulness practice.
Until next time, be well.Emma-Kate x
