Can you believe there's only 3 weeks until Christmas...

Hello, and welcome to my last newsletter for 2019.

Not only is this my last newsletter for 2019, but my last for this decade! As we prepare for Christmas, get ready to farewell 2019 and welcome in the new year- I wanted to take a moment to remind you about how Emma-Kate Massage Therapy and Well-Being can help you on your journey.

Embrace simplicity.

2019 has been a big year for many. We reach the tail-end of the year and we’re often overwhelmed and exhausted.

This Christmas I’m embracing simplicity. We’re having a family picnic in my Mum’s garden. This time last year we were told would be our last Christmas with my Mum – she was diagnosed with aggressive stomach cancer – but, is now – thankfully – in remission. My handsome son, Rossi underwent another heart procedure at Easter; my beautiful niece had her first open-heart surgery and my Dad, is now in heart failure.

So, as Christmas comes around this year, we are focusing on counting our blessings and being grateful. We are dialing down on the Christmas perfectionism and remembering it doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to be a great time with the people you love. We’ll be keeping Christmas simple and gift-giving from the heart, rather than big-ticket items.

A commitment to improving the well-being of my clients.

2019 has also been another year of professional development.

To complement my massage and mindfulness services, I have undertaken a commitment to provide an overall holistic approach to improve the well-being of my clients. I am part-way through studying a Diploma in Health and Wellness Coaching. On completion I’ll be able to further support people through life changes – including stress, anxiety and pain-management.

To introduce this service, I am offering a Wellness Package – a one-hour massage and 30-minute Wellness consultation.

A small change to massage treatment prices...

Please note all prices for massage treatments will be changing from 1st January 2020. Massage prices will be increasing by $10 per treatment, and the new prices will soon be updated across my website. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Festive season dates

After a big year, it’s time for some down-time.

I’ll be closed on Tuesday 17th December as it’s my birthday, and I don’t believe in working on my birthday. I’ll also be closed on Friday 20th December. Both clinics will be closed from 3pm on Tuesday 24th December and will re-open on Thursday 2nd January 2020.

During January I’ll be reducing my hours to spend precious time with my family and paddle board. I’ll be working three days a week – Churton Park on a Tuesday and The Terrace on Wednesday and Thursday. Normal hours will resume from February 2020.

A gentle reminder about the importance of booking your appointments in advance. I’ve become very busy with all my lovely and loyal clients. I love seeing you for your appointments and would hate for you to miss out on your much-needed massage appointments with me.
